Josh and Cecily Croskey—married since 2013—are proof that humble beginnings can grow into extraordinary purpose. Both were raised in Tacoma's Hilltop during the 1990s, an area known more for its challenges than opportunities.

While not top scholars in school, their natural leadership stood out among friends, family, and classmates. Each faced hardships in young adulthood, including early marriages and struggles to build a future against the odds.

These trials only strengthened their resolve. When they reconnected in 2012, their renewed bond became more than a marriage—it became a mission. Together, they have built and led organizations across nonprofit and business sectors, creating jobs, opportunities, and inspiration throughout Pierce County and beyond.
